Letter to the editor: Canterbury attorney will be tested again
In 2007, when Canterbury First Selectman Brian Sear was elected, one of his first decisions was to hire Edward O’Connell as town attorney. Despite many residents being unhappy with having anything to do with the attorney who represented New London in its highly controversial eminent domain case, Sear assured us that O’Connell was extremely capable, stating that he “tries cases, not causes.”
